In the time of crises I was not hurt by the harsh words of my Enemy, but by the silence of my Friends..

Happy Vela-Time day.

Posted by: Adil Siddiq on: February 14, 2009

Out of 365 days, dedicating just a day in the name of love is insane. Its unfair for the humanity as well as the emotionally drained out living beings.
To me, it isn’t a Valentines Day, it is truly a Vela-Time Day ( Vela in punjabi means idle or free aka Faarigh ).
Lets love our loved ones all the year and just suppose how so many in differences and issues could be solved if we practice on doing that all 365 days.

Vela-Time Day rocks, where are the chicks!!! wooohooooo

The day when I beat USA !

Posted by: Adil Siddiq on: February 9, 2009

So yes,

Very randomly, last night, I was thinking about the whole scenario of the world political situation and the economical crises and also the war against terror bullshit…. I started off thinking from the most common street crime scene of Karachi i.e: Cell phone snatching and from there i went on to the whole undiluted debate of the Major World Crises that are being taking place for past decade.

After spending half an hour revolving around this ideology, I reached to a conclusion that USA has been responsible for most of the crises. The major crises are the Reactions and not the Actions. These reactions could have easily be avoided but the USA were too busy licking the Jew Balls…

In a few seconds, this rage started to grow more than I expected and I decided to beat the hell out of USA.

But how!? Taliban or Al-Quaida?

Naaaa…  I started the EA Sports Cricket 2007 and decided to play a 20 overs cricket match against the team USA. I chose Australia very randomly. The details might be a bit shocking for most of the people here. I chose difficulty level 4/5.

After 20 overs, Aussies scored 63 for 6 wickets….

Oh, wait a minute…  It was 634 for 6 wicket!!!

Batting Stats

Delighted I was….

The End.

PS: Batting stats and scorecard are posted…..  Love live Australia.

The evening Tea with the most beautiful woman…

Posted by: Adil Siddiq on: February 3, 2009

Life is so busy….

Too much work, assignments, music and vocal practicing and the Car Hunt, Life is so busy indeed..

Just a few minutes ago I had a lovely evening chaaye (Tea) with my lovely Nani. She has been at ours for a stay over since last week but I, being busy and too caught up with things, couldn’t spend Much of a time with her. But, last one hour has been the most amazing and over whelming for me as I got to share the most important time of my life with the most important woman in my life, My Nani  =)

This feeling actually made my laziness go away and forced me to come back to my space and take it all out in the best way I could or, to just say what I couldn’t find anyone appropriate enough to say.

Nani  =)

Nani has been an inspiration for me, like my Nana whom I could never see or feel or listen to but, whatever I have heard the people speaking about my Nana makes me so proud of him and so blessed myself to be chosen by God as his Grandson. There is a whole story of Nana which, one day, I would love to  share with all of you. The story which is the identity of everyone in my whole family and the reality which motivated me and showed me the true spirit of Freedom, Sacrifice, Hardship, Hatred and Love. The Life I have and the Life I’ll have, My Nana’s personality and ideology has molded me in the best of ways and I just wish that I could hug him so tightly and on my knees could say just one thing, Thank You.

In a few minutes, I am about to drop Nani back to her home but the truth is I dont want her to go. She is the closest to me after my mother and probably I love my Nani more than I love my mother. I wish I could write more but before the power goes off, I’ll wrap it up and hit the ‘Publish’ button…  and hope, wish and pray for the best of health for one and only, my true love, Nani =)

Beauty of the Road, Double hai Double hai!!!!

Posted by: Adil Siddiq on: January 29, 2009

Ever since I sold my car, things have been pretty different. But yes, in a bad as well as in a good way. I mostly use the public transportation now specially the Bus! Buses of Karachi are so pretty. Yes , literally they are. All well decorated and well occupied. Just today I was coming back home in the Bus, I instantly went back in time to ” my first time in the public bus experience. “

bus

Since we brothers were little, Dad wasn’t with us mostly as he was abroad 10 months a year. So, we are MAMAs boys. We used to be pretty Mummy Daddy of a sort back then. We were even taken to the Barber’s by our Mum and brought us up like a Dad… Missed that part by Dad seriously but still, it was nice.

When i got in 9th grade, I took computer sciences instead of Biology. I always hated Biology and that Frog dissection part specially. Plus to the fact that I had no interest at all to pursue my career in medicine or anything related. So, computer science it was. Back then, i think the year was 1998 something , when computers were not so much used the way they should have been used. Software and The Computer Technology was quite dumb too. So, I decided to get the Computer Diploma from a Computer Institute and thats how my journey in the Public Bus started. Journey as in Being on my own for the first time ever.

The first time i waved at the Bus to stop, i was shivering like anything. They used to charge Rs.3 back then. Good Times. I still remember when my elder brother, who have had the Bus experiences before, used to give me tips etc about how to stop the Bus or how to let know the conductors or the drivers where to stop. It was like the institution for me back then. And I tell you, I was stupid.

As I used to be a huge cricket maniac, I had this huge collection of Caps. I remember the most amazing cap I had, my dad gifted me that on my 13th Birthday. It was the best thing I had back then and I lost that Cap in the Bus!!!  lol . Oh yes, I think it would be interesting if I share this incident here. I got a pretty vacant Bus luckily that day, so , I could choose any of the seats. So, I chose a seat and put my cap on the seat beside and then my bag on the cap and I slept. When I got up, my stop had just passed by so I grabbed my bag in a hurry and jumped off the bus and, I made the biggest Boo Boo of my life.

My dad has been abroad half of his life but he always prefers the Pubic Transportation over own car. I think now I kind of understand why. Driving in the city like Karachi is like one of the toughest tasks of life. Traffic here can be so Evil on times.

Not to forget, the amazing Art Work on the buses which makes this mean of transportation much interesting. All over the Bus, you could read different slogans or saying. Stuff like ‘Naseeb Apna Apna’ or ‘Maa ki dua Jannat ki hawaa’ or even ‘Sirf Tum’ written on most of the buses, is the most interesting thing i found in buses. It seems like an institution on wheels saying or telling about the very basic yet the hard hitting realities of lives. Stuff like ‘ Hasad Na Ker’ and etc, I think defines alot though these buses are known as one of the most reckless wheelers of Karachi but anyways…

Its been 2 weeks now that I have been using the Bus again after 2 years at exact. I kind of realize that Cars have made humans pretty lazy. Lets see when the new Bitch comes to my life now. Till then, Bus bhai bus ziaada baat nai chief saab!!

Closing my eyes with my hands on the keyboard….  i’m back to my beloved Blog. My space, my room in the house, my seat in the car and my life in the time….

Been quite a few days, haven’t been able to write… or you can say, didn’t get much of a time as in much of a better mind frame to write. But, does this conclude that one should only write when He/She is in a better mind frame? So , what is this so called “Better Mind Frame” ?

So let me correct myself, I have not been able to write other than the Quotes because I have been trying to Concentrate. Yes, concentrate on my academics and since I have Auditing and Taxation final exam in the morning, I have been studying whole night and day as I get only a day to revise!

Apologies my beloved blog for not letting you get into myself and apologies to my self for not letting anything come through me.

And would you believe if i tell you that i have not listened to a single song for many days now?  Yes I played a few but I didn’t really ‘Listened’ to them.  Until I played Here Without You and Away From The Sun today by 3 Doors Down. These two song, I simply love…. And yes, these songs actually made me to come here back again after a few weeks…

Last, I shared my experience or I shared the experience i was getting into. Last year, last weak of last month. And yes, I have to write back the Part 2 of “In Search Of Myself” and I have to share what i have experienced in the journey of a life time for me. Too emotional stuff, I tell you. And, we’ll find out if I really Found myself.

Would you believe that I asked Hina to bug me in exact 15 minutes and i’ll stop typing in exactly 15 minutes!!??

yes, this blog gets only 15 minutes. No, its not injustice….. Its the justice baby, which, i will decide of after i Read what I write here..  Sometimes, life has to be experienced in a different way. No, not by running naked around Tariq Road. But, by just playing what comes your way randomly and instantly. By taking it not with just opened eyes or hands, but by mind too…

Ever thought of jumping off the airplane without a parachute?

Never do please, it will kill you.

And as Hina says,

Adios

PS:  Forgive me for the spelling or grammatical errors, 15 minutes I tell you. And the picture was photographed by my dear friend Mobeen Ansari a few weeks back. love it  =)
